MacUpgrades.co.uk offers an installation service for many of the parts available on our site. You can book and pay for the installation service online
by adding the relevant item to your shopping cart - e.g. if you wish to have us install an internal hard drive in an Apple iBook G4, navigate to the
iBook G4 Page, and from the hard drive section add the product "INSTALL SERVICE - Internal Hard Drive in an iBook" to your cart.
Or use our serial number search facility.
We also offer a Drive Cloning serivce to copy your existing drive onto the new one. If you are interested in doing this yourself, please see our Drive Cloning Guide.

Please note we only install products bought from ourselves, so you will need to add a compatible upgrade to your cart as well.
For us to perform the installation we will need you to send your machine into us. We strongly advise you to use an insured service to do so,
and to securely package the machine up for transit. Please be aware that we accept no responsibility for goods damaged in transit to ourselves.
We can, if you prefer, arrange for collection of your computer via our Collection Service. For Intel iMac owners who do not have a suitable box for their machine, we can also provide a collection service which uses one of our boxes.
When you check-out and have submitted your payment details, you will be given the option to print off a delivery note - this is provided as a convenience,
but if you do address the package yourself, please ensure you include the reference number provided. Goods sent to us without a reference number may
encounter significant delays.
Once we receive your machine we will notify you by email. Work will then take 2 - 3 working days.
For most installation services we do offer a same day service at additional cost - see here for details.
You can choose to either have the machine shipped back to you at a cost of £5 + vat (£6), or you can collect your Mac from our Cambridge office. Once the work is completed you will be notified by email that your machine is ready and is either being returned to you or is ready for collection.
If you choose to have the machine shipped to you, the machine will normally be delivered back to you 1 working day after you have been notified that the work is complete. Please note that all deliveries take place on working days during normal business hours. If there are any days or dates that you cannot receive delivery,
please add this as a comment when placing your order, or notify us later by email.
Please note that the installation of some upgrades may invalidate your Apple warranty - if your Mac is still in warranty and you are unsure whether
a particular job would invalidate it, please ask us prior to booking the install.
Please back up all data before dispatching your machine to us. We take every care not to cause loss or corruption of your data, but we can accept no liability whatsoever for loss of data.
All our pricing assumes that your machine is in working order, and that you meet all the requirements to use the hardware that you have purchased.
If we are unable to carry out a job due to these reasons, we reserve the right to make a charge for the labour time spent on your machine, and for return shipping.
This will never exceed the total installation labour and delivery charge components of your order.
