This is a PCI card, and is used in desktop computers - for Macs this means that it is only compatible with PowerMac computers previous to the PowerMac G5 Dual Core, since only these PowerMacs have PCI slots (please see the compatibility listing below for the list of compatible PowerMacs for this product).

The card adds RJ-45 Ethernet ports to your Mac.

The Sonnet Presto Gigabit Ethernet card adds a super-fast 1000Mb/s capable ethernet port to your PowerMac. The card will automatically negotiate the protocol, so it will work fine on a 10/100 or 10BaseT network.

NB: This card requires OSX 10.4.11 or later.
