This is a 1GB module of DDR2-PC25300.

It is a SODIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module) memory chip, which is generally used in laptop computers.The RAM is DDR2 RAM. This is similar to standard DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM in that data is sent on both the rising and falling edge of each clock pulse. DDR2 RAM however has upgraded components which allow it to run at higher clock frequencies than standard DDR.

This product is compatible with the following Macs:

MacBook Pro 15.4": Only suitable for MacBook Pros released before October 2008 (SuperDrive slot in the front, not on the right-hand side).
MacBook Pro 17": Only suitable for MacBook Pros released before January 2009 (SuperDrive slot in the front, not on the right-hand side).
MacBook (White or Black): Suitable for MacBooks released up to May 2009, which have a bus speed of 667MHz, 800MHz or 1066MHz, and a memory speed of 667MHz.
iMac (Intel): Suitable for iMacs released before 28th April 2008.
Mac mini (Intel): Should be installed in pairs. Only suitable for models prior to March 2009, so suitable for Mac minis with a bus speed slower than 1066MHz.
