It is a SODIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module) memory chip, which is generally used in laptop computers.The RAM is DDR RAM, in which data is sent on the falling and rising edges of a clock cycle in a data burst - essentially meaning it can operate at double the motherboard speed.
