Apple Mac Logic Board Connector Replacement
We here at MacUpgrades encourage home upgrades on your Apple kit. However sometimes accidents do happen. We see a number of iMacs where the LVDS (screen connector) has been ripped off the board when attempting to replace a hard drive or in Mac Mini, where the fan or sensor connectors are ripped off the board. We have very experienced logic board repair technicians who can replace the connector without the huge cost of replacing the entire logic board.
We can replace almost all broken connectors on all machines (some cases may be impossible due to broken traces, but these can mostly be replaced with tiny wires) contact us for more information.
This work is done on a no fix no fee basis (assuming the broken connector is the only fault), and can normally be completed in 2 working days.
Some examples of our work:
Mac mini fan connector and daughter board replaced
MacBook Air LVDS connector (liquid damaged)
Severe iMac LVDS damage after failed iMac drive replacement attempt (over 15 wires required)
