This is a Seagate Basic Portable USB 3 External Hard Drive. Great value for backup use and general purpose portable storage. This drive takes power from the Mac via USB and does not have an external power supply. USB cable included.
This drive is fully Mac compatible, but will need to be formatted before use. This is can done in a few seconds by opening Disk Utility, and using the Erase option. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, there is a good guide here on the process (though you can and should choose the lowest/fastest security option when erasing a new drive for first use).
This is the 2TB version of the drive, part code: STJL2000400.
