Refurb MacBook Pro 17in Early 2011 (GPU fix applied) 2.2GHz i7, 8GB RAM, 2 x 1TB HDD (No DVD)
This is a refurbished Apple Macintosh computer. It has been fully tested, and any faulty parts have been replaced. The machine is functionally in fully working order, although since it is a pre-used machine some cosmetic marks and signs of use may be apparent, but any major defects will be itemised below. The Mac comes with a 3 month warranty. Shipping time is usually around 3 working days from the date of order since all machines we sell go through a final testing cycle before dispatch. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is the standard £5 + vat courier charge that is applied during checkout. Please contact us for quotes on non-mainland UK deliveries.
This is a 2011 MacBook Pro 17in - the last of the 17in Mac laptops. It has 8GB of RAM (upgradeable to 16GB) and has 2 x 1TB hard drives - the second hard drive has been fitted in place of the DVD drive, so there is not internal DVD drive fitted. One or both of these drives can be easily upgraded to an SSD.
Note: This machine has suffered from the very common graphics card fault that occured on the 2011 machines, but has been repaired with our permanent bypass service. This completely resolves the issue, but does leave the machine running from its integrated graphics card, which reduces the 3D graphics performance of the machine and removes the ability to use external monitors or projectors with it. You can also not install Windows natively (ie via BootCamp) with this fix, though virtualised Windows will work fine.
