This is a PCMCIA card, also known as a Cardbus card or a PC card, and is intended for use in laptop computers. For Macs this means that it is only compatible with PowerBooks, since only PowerBooks have PCMCIA slots. Although it should be noted that the 12" PowerBook G4s do not have a PCMCIA slot (please see the compatibility listing below for the list of compatible PowerBooks).

The Sonnet Aria Extreme is a Mac compatible 802.11g card. This is exactly the same functionality as Apple's AirPort Extreme cards, but uses a standard expansion slot, rather than Apple's proprietary Airport slot.

NB: This card requires OS 10.3.5 or later.
