The Sonnet G5 Jive is an internal SATA hard drive mounting solution for G5 PowerMacs (both PCI-X and PCI-Express based). It is compatible with internal 7200RPM SATA hard drives and can take up to 3 hard drives - these are in addition to the 2 SATA hard drives that can be mounted in an unmodified PowerMac G5.

The product comes with all the cables and hardware necessary to mount the drives (with a useful 3-in-1 power cable to reduce clutter).

However it does not include a SATA controller card. To use more than 2 SATA hard drives in a PowerMac G5 you will need to add additional SATA controllers via the expansion slots - for example the Sonnet Tempo SATA PCI card allows you to control 2 additional internal SATA drives, and is an excellent companion to this product.
