How to find your serial number in software
You can find your Mac's serial number in Apple System Profiler: Select the Apple Menu > About This Mac, then (depending on the version of OSX you are running) click the System Report button or the More Info button. This brings up System Profiler, and on the Hardware Overview that is displayed by default you should see your serial number, and be able to copy/paste it. The procedure does vary slightly between different versions of OSX.
If you can't boot your Mac
If your Mac is not working, the serial number is printed on the computer casing but the location varies. Here are the main locations of serial numbers on Apple computers.
Unibody MacBook Pro - Laser etched onto the base.
MacBook, Early MacBook Pro, PowerBook G4 - Inside the main battery bay. Remove battery to locate.
iBook (White) - Under the keyboard. To lift keyboard, pull back on the release tabs between the F-keys.

Mac Pro Late 2013 Upgrades
This page covers all the upgrades we sell for the cylindrical Mac Pro workstations. Choose the type of upgrade you are looking for from the tabs below.
If you want specific upgrades for your exact model, choose it from the Model ID links below, or enter your serial number here:
Announced in Late 2013, the new model Mac Pro was a radical departure from the previous tower model. Instead of a large tower workstation with PCI Express expansion and graphics slots and 4 bays for internal 3.5" drives, then new model is in a slim black cylindrical case with a single internal SSD. Additional storage and peripherals are all done via its Thunderbolt 2 ports.
The Mac Pro Late 2013 was released built around 4 main CPU configurations, a quad core 3.7GHz, a 6 Core 3.5GHz, an 8 core 3.0GHz and a 12 core 2.7GHz. Apple specs here.
How to Identify these Machines
The cylindrical case design makes the Mac Pro 2013 unique and unmistakeable.
The Mac Pro Late 2013 was released built around 4 main CPU configurations, a quad core 3.7GHz, a 6 Core 3.5GHz, an 8 core 3.0GHz and a 12 core 2.7GHz. It has a single internal SSD and 4 slots for DDR3 ECC DIMM 1866MHz RAM. Apple specs here.
Memory Upgrades
The Mac Pro Late 2013 has 4 memory sockets and can take up to 128GB of RAM in 4 x 32GB modules. However using 32GB modules will reduce the memory bus speed from 1866MHz to 1333MHz (in the 4 core, 6 core, 8 core models) or 800MHz (in the 12 core model). We do not yet have 32GB modules available for purchase, so the maximum we can supply at present is 64GB in 4 x 16GB modules.
Please note that the 4GB and 8GB modules are unregistered while the 16GB modules are registered. This is the same for the stock Apple memory, and registered and non-registered RAM cannot be mixed. So if you wish to use 16GB modules, all smaller modules will need to be removed.
Registered. Can only be mixed with other registered modules, so with 16GB and 32GB ones.

be taken since the part is delicate.
